Terms & Conditions

Exclusive Trips Switzerland will be happy to organise your luxurious stay in Switzerland. To ensure success, we ask you to read the following terms and conditions, which are an integral part of the contract, carefully. We thank you for your understanding and for taking note.

Contract Partner

These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to the contractual relationship between the guest (hereinafter referred to as "Guest") and Exclusive Trips Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "ETS" or "We").

Conclusion of contract

The provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations shall apply to the conclusion of the contract. As a rule, the contract is concluded by a reservation confirmation signed by both parties, an electronic reservation confirmation or by the unreserved acceptance of an offer from ETS by the guest.

The guest acknowledges the terms and conditions valid at the time of the conclusion of the contract.

Deviations from the terms of contract are only valid if they have been expressly acknowledged by ETS in writing.

If a booking is made by a third party for a guest, this third party is liable to ETS with the guest as joint debtor for all obligations arising from the contract.

All information relevant to the booking, especially these GTC must be passed on to the guest by the third party. If a booking is made by a third party for a guest, this third party is liable to ETS with the guest as joint debtor for all obligations arising from the contract.

Cancellation

If the guest wishes to cancel the stay, the following provisions apply:

• up to 60 days before the beginning of the journey / Refund of 100% of the amount paid in travelling expenses
• from 35 up to 59 days before the beginning of the journey / Refund of 50% of the amount paid in travelling expenses
• from 22 up to 34 days before the beginning of the journey / Refund of 25% of the amount paid in travelling expenses
• less than 22 days before the beginning of the journey / Refund of 0% of the amount paid in travelling expenses

(For the calculation of the annulment charges, the time when Exclusive Trips Switzerland receives the written annulment is decisive)

If a journey which has already begun is cut short by one or more of the visitors, none of them is entitled to a refund of the amount paid in travelling expenses.

If a journey which has already begun is cut short by Exclusive Trips Switzerland, the travelling expenses are proportionately refunded.

Prices

All set prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and refer to one person in a ‘Deluxe’ double room, including full board

All upgrade prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and refer to the room.

Either of the daytrips set in the description of the trips is included in the price.

All indicated prices include the customary charges and taxes.

Insurance

Any kind of insurance is the participants’ responsibility.

Exclusive Trips Switzerland refuses legal liability for any kind of damage which is not caused by Exclusive Trips Switzerland.

Reservation

Due to the possibility of incidents which cannot be foreseen, Exclusive Trips Switzerland reserves the right to change the direction of routes and/or the day schedule.

Should an accommodation, a room category, a gastronomic business or an event be booked up, closed or unavailable due to any other reason, Exclusive Trips Switzerland reserves the right to organize and book an equivalent substitute.

If additional costs are incurred, e.g. for the minibar, without this having been contractually agreed with ETS, the guest must cover them.

The arrival and departure time at the hotel is determined by the hotel itself.

Final regulations

By signing the booking form the customer accepts the general terms of business.

This contract is exclusively under Swiss law.

As an exclusive court of jurisdiction, the parties agree on Arlesheim/Switzerland.
